Our Aim

The Protecting Life Movement Trust (PLMT) is an interdenominational, para-church organization. PLMT was formed in the year 2000 by a number of Christian based organizations, and Churches with the purpose and mandate to educate society on the sanctity of life, the facts about abortion and its complications, alternatives to abortion and prevention of unplanned pregnancies.

Educate society on the sanctity of life, facts about abortion and prevention of unplanned pregnancy.

Advocate against legalization of abortion and other attempts to undermine the sanctity of life in Kenya.

Carry out profile marches and other events in various parts of the country to create awareness on the effects of abortion.

Establish Rescue Homes in various parts of the country (each county) & Fundraise for our programs and projects.

Kiota is a bird’s nest in Kiswahili.Our first Kiota was established in Central Kenya, Murang’a County in April 2011 and the second in Kwale County in June 2015.
